They were more concerned, distracted and concentrating on the price of eggs and very male-looking swimmers on girl's teams than on what good Biden and Harris did. You've been around long enough to know this (e.g. Willie Horton ad vs. Michael Dukakis, a very good Governor, and false Swift Boat accusations against John Kerry, a true war hero who later turned against the war because he saw first hand what was going on, tarring Al Gore (who won anyway) with Bill Clinton's meaningless peccadillos).
I, for one, refuse to blame the Democrats. I saw their ads, heard their speeches and know what they did the last 4 years. I was not distracted by stupid, racist, inhumane ads. Woe to those who were.

The American electorate is a mess. There is no unity in the Dem party. The wide net keep everyone in their own corner acting like know it alls.
