Vaguely on the topic of Jewish people clutching pearls but dancing with the devil, I think Trump’s religion (as opposed to that of the Christian Nationalists) is the worship of wealth and power. This may seem redundant, but I have noticed that religious affiliation and race seem to take a back seat to his admiration of ‘strongmen’, billionaires, prestige and of course useful sycophants. He favours Netanyahu, Putin, Kim Jong Un, Orban, Nayib Bukele and Javier Milei whose common thread is authoritarianism. Pretty much any billionaire who panders to his ego is ok by him. Religion doesn’t appear to be much of an issue to him if you fit into one of these categories. Plus of course, Ivanka, Jarred and Stephen Miller are Jewish. I’m sure there are a fair number of his cabinet and the 2025 mob who would wish otherwise.
Yes the times we are living in according to a Chinese proverb, "May you live in interesting times" which turns out to be not a good thing. I can't make sense of any of it to be honest and I am beyond disappointed in our government on both sides of the aisle. BUT that 19 million people sat out the election is why I wont do one thing till I see them back engaged. It is their job to fight and when they do I will join in. Not sure if you are able. but i would love your support for this election I am involved with. Here's How to Vote. It takes 90 seconds.

About the World Zionist Congress:
In a nutshell, the WZC is the global Jewish parliament that determines how major funding is allocated to support Jewish life in Israel and around the world.
It’s basically the political voice of the Jewish people worldwide, and voting in it is a chance to have a say in how that voice is used.
It was founded in 1897 by Theodor Herzl and meets every five years to shape policies on issues like education, community development, and the future of Zionism.
Delegates are elected from Jewish communities worldwide, making it one of the most democratic Jewish institutions.
