There are no words that can soothe those of us who are still grappling with what happened on October 7. The unfathomable has still not fully landed in my psyche. I feel like it’s all a bad dream, and I can’t wake up. Part of me doesn't want to wake up to the reality that in one fell swoop, 1,400 Jews were massacred, and the entire world changed. Move over 9/11. Sadly, it is not a dream, and even sadder, it has un unearthed my capacity to hate, which is spilling over. I never wanted to be someone I couldn’t recognize when looking in the mirror and looking like the people who are festering in the streets with their false equivalency of caring about a “people” they never considered before. Frankly, they never gave two shits about them when other similar events happened in the past. Bleeding heart, COVID keyboard warriors that somehow got off their asses and into the streets so they can feel relevant or wanted again.
Having parents who survived the Holocaust and hearing their horrific stories offered me a peek into the evil that existed; correction exists that we see on the news and our phones in real-time: hatred, bigotry, antisemitism, racism, fill-in-the-blank ism. I never considered the notion of retribution. Then I saw that orange, gross baboon Trump warning that he will get retribution when he gets elected in 2024. All I could think of was ‘over my dead body,’ will that piece of shit ever be back in the White House for unleashing antisemitism. That fateful, life-changing day when he said, “Fine people on both sides,” after the Charlottesville Right To Life march opened the floodgates, and now look what he has unearthed. It all stems back to him. Period.
But, rather than get into a soliloquy about the Middle East, where so much evil lurks and everyone’s opinion means shit, I will spare you. Unless you are living there, it doesn’t matter what you have to say. It’s pointless and meaningless to what they all are suffering through. So spare us all your blather online, you clickbait whores.
We have the First Amendment, which I have said for a while, could use some tweaking. Besides, I don’t need to school anyone how being evil is a bad thing. It exists in all of us. But those who choose to let it guide their choices, well, those people need to have the same ending as my grandparents. Look up Ponay Forest.
Love,
Touche and that is where we are now and whatever happens, I can assure you one thing, it won't be our blood spilled. these Hamas lovers will end up in the battle royale with MAGA morons. ANd we will sit by nibbling on popcorn. You'll see. Thanks for sharing! BTW #IAmStillWithHer
Amen, Abe, to everything you said. I hate the first class ass gross baboon too but our problems goes back much further than him. You say what I’ve been saying too, we all know nothing of the situation and even less of the complicated history. Yet our so-called friends on the Left are all of a sudden foreign policy experts. It’s a wonder they don’t have tenured Professorships of Middle Eastern Studies at Harvard’s Kennedy School of Government. Like you said, I’m beginning to hate them with a passion. One of them even commented to ne: “You all have blood on your hands.” Sounds like good old Blood Libel to me. And to top it off, these are the mindless idiots that literally brought us president Trump by criticizing HRC right up to election day and then voting for Jill Stein or not voting at all. In reality the blood of women having botched abortions is on their hands. You cannot make this shit up.
