"I Won’t Be Silent" Because Silence Means Losing
This Is Our Turning Point, Jews Must Shift The Narrative
“Never Again” wasn’t just words to be uttered—it was intended as a rallying cry after the Holocaust. It was a warning. A line in the sand. A reminder to those who would trespass against us.
When I say this is a turning point, I mean it. I have never been this moved to shift my perspective on what is forgivable—not since watching hundreds of Gazan children celebrate as the caskets of Israeli babies were paraded through the streets.
"Forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us."
That is a Christian ethos. We’re Jews. The Lord’s Prayer can no longer apply—at least not to me. In cases as extreme as the brutality perpetrated on the Bibas boys— forgiveness is not an option. Anyone who knows me has heard me prattle on and on about the importance of forgiveness. I truly believed in it. I still do—to an extent. And yesterday, that extent became crystal clear.
My line in the sand? My red line? It has been crossed, and there is no turning back. To Hamas and all their supporters worldwide, I am done. Forgiveness is for those who seek it—not for those who massacre our families and wave the evidence like a trophy. And that goes for their cheerleaders as well. Forgive? Not today. Not for the barbarians who have escaped from the depths of hell to wreak havoc in Israel.
If the world expects us to negotiate with Hamas—the same people who burned our families alive—that’s a loser’s proposition. What happened to strong leaders like Margaret Thatcher, who said: “We do not negotiate with terrorists”? That kind of clarity is missing. Idle threats from false idols be damned. Until this situation ends, no one really seems to have power here.
When I titled my book, Won’t Be Silent, it was because my life changed the day the Nazis marched in Charlottesville. That particular moment was a wake-up call for me, the child of Holocaust survivors. But what happened yesterday? That was an even deeper shift. At the risk of breaking into the song from “Wicked”:
—Something has changed within me,
—Something is not the same
—I'm through with playing by the rules,
—Of someone else's game.
And I welcome what comes next. As an activist. As a Jew. As a fighter. Because one thing is clear: to be silent is to admit defeat. It’s time for Jews to shift the narrative. We need a stronger message. Clarity über alles. If we don’t fight for a stronger narrative, we lose—be it the war, the cultural battle, or any fight for survival moving forward.
For too long, we’ve assumed being right, honorable, and truthful is enough. Tikkun Olam—healing the world—was our mantra. Well, I think we need to revisit that strategy. Stat. We cannot heal others until we ourselves are healed. And if you have a soul, you are in desperate need of emotional healing right now. But healing does not come from passivity. It comes from moral courage.
We’ve been playing defense when we should be on offense. We didn’t start the October 7 War. So don’t even try to give me some colonizer cock-and-bull story. They claim Israel is committing genocide, and we respond with complicated explanations instead of the simplest truth: Israel is fighting for its survival.
Never Again rings hollow without consequences. We’ve been dealing with the crap of our enemies spreading lies about Israel and Jews. It’s a toxic stew, served up by legacy media to poison the minds of the easily propagandized. Meanwhile, antisemites become professors and call for our deaths—to standing ovations. While our enemies openly chant for our eradication, and the world asks us to debate our humanity. Enough.
We must seize the narrative the way the GOP used the slogan, “Stop the Steal” is similar to how the anti-Israel mobs chant “From the River to the Sea.”
[SIDEBAR] Be careful what you wish for, girls. That can go both ways. After yesterday’s shenanigans, don’t look now—but your demise looms large, thanks to your own lack of humanity.
Even the Grand Mufti of Saudi Arabia, Abdul Aziz Al-Sheikh, said: "What we saw today in Gaza is a disgrace to Islam, an act of blasphemy against Allah, and a sin that does not represent the followers of the Prophet, peace be upon him, or the honorable religion of Islam.”
When you’ve lost Saudi Arabia, you might want to rethink your strategy. But whatever, girls. You do you. Let’s see how that ends. See ya, wouldn’t want to be ya.
We must all find our spines of steel. It is in our DNA since Moses. Our messaging must be: We are here. We will fight. We will win. When someone spreads antisemitic lies, call it out and demand action. Don’t explain. Don’t debate. Don’t try to prove your humanity. We are up against monsters. We must be dragon slayers. We must be lions.
[SIDEBAR] Let's learn the meaning of Kfir and Ariel’s names: Kfir means 'lion cub' and Ariel combines two words - ‘lion and god’. How’s that for found in translation.
Jews don’t just survive—we rise. Jews have survived for thousands of years, not because we roll over and die out. It is because we are like Cher. We keep coming back—looking fabulous.
Yes, many Jews have died in this painful process called survival. But this is not a moment for quiet reflection. This is a moment to get emotionally charged and ready to take on the fight ahead of us. We are up against a multi-billion-dollar Qatari propaganda machine. That’s not hyperbole. That’s reality.
When the world tells you to stay quiet, get louder. Judaism wasn’t built on weakness. Remember our ethos: An eye for an eye. We’ve been hunted because we have spent centuries turning the other cheek. Assimilating in the diaspora. Enough.
It’s time to reclaim our strength and tell our stories while reclaiming our role as the architects of our Jewish future. It’s about fighting for our right to exist unapologetically. To shape the world, rather than constantly defending ourselves against it. That is why I—in particular —“Won’t Be Silent - Don't Stop 'til It Matters.”
