Happy New Year! And To Those Who Trespass Against Us
This Past Year Opened My Eyes To The Hypocrisy And Evil That Lives Among Us
As much as Rosh Hashanah—the Jewish New Year—is a reset for us—spiritually and mentally—I can’t help being affected by the events that continue to unfold and annoy the fuck out of me since the October 7 attack.
As we begin the new year, we embrace this moment of reflection. We hope and pray for good tidings and blessings for peace on this farkakte planet. It’s not only the responsibility of the Jewish people to be the ones reflecting, either. In fact, is it REALLY peace that y’all are yearning for globally? And when I say globally, I don’t mean peace for ONLY FRIGGEN PALESTINE!
I’m talking to all you faceplant-covered rioters because peaceful protests are not what you’re doing. You can’t be a peacenik and curb your enthusiasm to one tiny swatch of land that coincidentally gives you the freedom to chant for the annihilation of the Jews. It didn’t work out well for the Germans in the 1940s and TRUST ME, it won’t work out well for y’all here in America either.
[SIDEBAR] Don’t look now, but y’all are in such a minority, that your heads would spin if YOUR worst nightmare comes to pass and Trump wins the election in November. Do some research as to what happened when the Japanese Americans found themselves squooshed into Internment Camps here in the good ol’ USA. That so will be happening to y’all as well if you keep saying “Death to America” while burning American flags. Pay heed. Get humble. You’ll see.
What say you choose to participate in the sentiments of the Jewish traditions and join us in the celebration and reset of Rosh Hashanah. Make today a fresh start. “Today is the first day of the rest of your life.” Okay, maybe that was a Total Cereal ad from 1973, but it is a lesson in spirituality, of sorts. And girl, you need a dose of that anyway…stat.
What say you tamper down the rhetoric and get back into the classrooms. At least TRY to make your parents proud. Or, perhaps, you are here on a student visa, which is why you cover your faces at these protests because you know how much trouble you’d be in of your families found out that you are pissing away your precious time spewing evil nonsense. Exactly the same crap your parents wanted to protect you from, which is why they sent you to America in the hope of you getting smarter, not dumber than the radicalized terrorists who have been propagandized by the extreme Islamic regimes who stir up trouble in your countries of origin.
On that note, let’s say a prayer together, “May Peace Prevail on Earth”. These are the prophetic words of the Japanese poet, philosopher, writer, and singer, Masahisa Goi, who was inspired to spread the message after witnessing the destruction of World War II and the atomic bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki. He believed this message could bring people together in a spirit of universal love and oneness.
With love in our hearts, we must make sure that IRAN NEVER GETS NUCLEAR CAPABILITIES, which is looming large, like the stench of antisemitism permeating the world’s air. As if environmental issues aren’t challenging enough, what say we all take a beat from spewing hateful, venomous rhetoric and try to live in peace. At least for today. Shana Tova!
Peace…Literally & Figuratively.

Happy and healthy New Year dear friend. May the coming year bring all that we wish for to fruition. Otherwise, there's always Costa Rica.
Shana Tova. May this last year’s curses be replaced with peace, health, and joy
