Democrats Better Show Up Or Shut Up On Nov. 5

The Dismal Turnout By The Dems In Texas Should Serve As A Wake-Up Call

According to Beto O’Rourke and the group Powered By People, “Voter turnout was down in Texas—by a lot. Just under 819,000 Democrats voted — far less than half of the 2.1 million who voted in the 2020 primaries.” Despite that shamefully embarrassing statistic, the best takeaway from the night was that Colin Allred won the chance to take down Ted Cruz on November 5th in the critically needed Senate race.

But, still, that lame turnout should scare the bejesus out of the entire Democratic party nationwide and especially the sad DNC, who I continue to wonder, “What is it those people do all day?” And, “Who is in charge of that thing? Don’t tell me it’s still Jamie Harrison.” How embarrassing that one must resort to googling to find out who’s in charge of the group responsible for messaging on behalf of the Democratic Party. And don’t ask, the reputation they have in that department. My sister always says, “The Democrats never miss an opportunity to miss an opportunity.” Good luck finding someone who has anything good to say about that organization. I’ll wait.

Why Stacey Abrams isn’t at the helm of the DNC will baffle me forever. She probably, smartly so, didn’t want it, especially since smarmy Tom Perez held that seat for so long, which must’ve left a stench. Between that missed opportunity and all those idiotic women who refused to vote for Hillary in 2016, well, let’s say it’s those kinds of tragic mishaps that will haunt us forever.

Now comes the true test of our democracy—if we can keep it. Will these bleeding heart lefties—who are cursing the ground Joe Biden walks on—defy their right to vote in protest for some half-assed principle that will only come back and slap them in the face? After all, they have sided with Hamas, so they really should suffer the consequences for their transgressions—siding with terrorists. What ever happened to, “We don’t negotiate with terrorists”? If you are not demanding for the release of the hostages as Step One and a cease-fire as Step Two, then you have shown your true antisemitic colors—and your hands—and there’s blood on them.

The more important point of this post is to beseech every independent and democrat to make sure to vote against Trump in November. Let the cringingly low Super Tuesday turnout be a cautionary tale, a warning, an effort in futility so that you sho.w up and vote über alles—blue, of course. Unless you have an affinity for fascism. And if you are NOT a Never Trumper, then you are totally useless to our democracy. #VoteOrDie
