Seeing flocks of Queers for Palestine flitting about in support of Islamic terrorists at the recent West Hollywood Pride March was truly unfortunate. For them. Gays who are peacocking in all their arrogance in solidarity with Hamas decrying Israel and Jews is at best oxymoronic—at worst—hyper-moronic—and cringingly ironic.
When I was coming out and walked in my first Pride March in NYC, I’ll never forget the sense of elation to be part of a new, beautiful community with those who worked hard through personal struggles to get to that very moment. Together we sashayed down Fifth Avenue somewhat regenerated with our new spirit chanting, “We’re Here, We’re Queer, Get Used to It”. The 1970s was exhilarating. Everything mattered. Gays, women, people of color, we were on the move, and we were winning.
Watching the counter protest by a bunch of rag-covered, screaming queens shouting “Free Palestine” as they tried to block the tens of thousands of regaling parade enthusiasts was an affront to everything we fought for. How dare they take away that same precious moment for a new kid walking for the first time, only to be confronted by this unruly, unattractive mob of misguided martyrs.
The gay community is Israel is so amazing. Seeing the disrespect by these clowns who have been propagandized is shameful at best. You want to protest? Fine. March on any other day but leave Gay Pride for those of us who still have some pride left. One thing is for certain, Hamas won’t win, and these fools will have chosen the wrong side of history and humanity. The fact that no one is demanding the release of the hostages shows how lost these plebes are.
The queer community worldwide will never get a chance to celebrate with the terrorists they are advocating for on their turf. What are going to do? Go to Gaza and celebrate, you silly bunch of bitches? And don’t hold your breath for the slightest bit of appreciation from these murderers. You, in essence, have cheered them on for having killed Jews in cold blood. They won’t even acknowledge you. What you will probably get is pushed off a rooftop. Nice life choice, girl.
Peace—literally & figuratively…
Abe
PS…Listening to my Audiobook while walking can be very meditative and hilarious.
Being pushed off a roof is not what hamas would do to gays. Look what they did October 7th. This country is so fucked up. The country is full of stupid people and I live in Florida the which probably has more morons than most states. Love you and wish you the best.
